Pet Portraits – why not try this at home?

Photographer Carli Davidson has an interesting approach to dog portraits – she captures their expressions when they try to shake off water.

Using a very fast shutter speed, and lit by flash judging by the appearance of these images, she captures some amazing faces and contortions.

So, armed with a cupful of water and a mackintosh, camera and lighting set up in advance and a HUGE amount of patience, why not have a go? I suppose it would work with most pets, except perhaps goldfish?
