On Sunday 1 July Geoff Willey opened a permanent exhibition of his “Life & Times” at the Ryedale Folk Museum at Hutton le Hole in the North York Moors and Jean and I were delighted to be invited to the opening ceremony.
The Museum had established a superb display of his life’s work in photography, featuring a selection of the many cameras and related equipment Geoff has acquired and used in his work. The exhibition also contains some of his photographs.
It was quite an emotional occasion for Geoff who has, as most of you will know, been a great supporter of the Museum since it’s inception; he was though absolutely delighted to see what an excellent job the Directors had made of the display and to know his equipment will have a permanent home.
Do visit the Museum if you are in the Ryedale area. Mike
