Landscape Photographer of the Year 2012

Have a look at some of the winners of the 2012 Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards here at the Telegraph website.

This annual competition to highlight the best amateur and professional landscape photographers in Britain has provided the usual array of spectacular, inspiring images.

This picture of wooden boats beached on Lindisfarne earned David Byrne the Take a View Landscape Photographer of the Year award. An exhibition of winning and commended entries will be held at the National Theatre in London from 12 November 2012 to 12 January 2013.

Rojo by Scott Wilson taken near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England (Commended in Your View category).

It’s interesting to see the sort of images that the judges select for an award including several that most camera club workers may not think of as “landscapes”.
